There is sooo much to be thankful for right here and now, even when the illusion of lack makes us think otherwise.
Dr. Peebles has been encouraging us to focus on the overwhelming abundance of the universe – the number of stars, grains of wheat, birds, fish, flowers. It’s mind boggling. He reminds us that when we are grateful for the little things it opens us to receiving big things. Begin to notice and be grateful for the things we may take for granted – the water from the faucet, the oxygen in the air, sunshine, each other! When we openly and frequently give thanks for all we have, for all we are about to receive, more of the goodness in life comes to us.
